April Highlights & Announcements:
Cuban Dinner Recap (04/04/2025)
Huge thanks to everyone who pre-ordered—73 Cuban dinners were prepared, and 52 were pre-sold! Once again, they sold out fast. We appreciate the support!
Last Breakfast of the Season
Join us for the final breakfast of the season in the second week of May. Don’t miss out on a great sendoff!
Final Friday Dinner – April 25
Philly Cheesesteaks are on the menu with Chefs Howard Feldt and Dan Sullivan. A great way to wrap up our Friday dinners!
Scholarship Fund
Forms have been delivered to Panama, Southwestern, and Chautauqua Lake. We’re now accepting student applicants.
Ashville Days Fireworks
$4,100 has been raised so far, with a signed contract for $10,000. Help us reach our goal—raffle tickets are still available through the Llama Club to support this amazing event!
Ashville Days Planning
- New vendor pricing: flat fee or 10% of sales (max $200).
- The parade now starts at 12:00 PM (Noon).
- The band will be performing in the church parking lot.
Flag & Grounds Updates
- Thanks to June Whipple and Ed Latta, new flags and rope have been hung.
- The pole damaged in the accident has been fixed.
- The dumpster is being relocated back to its original spot.
- We’re pricing out a full strip and refinish for the club floors.
Pavilion Update
It’s official—our pavilion liquor license has been approved. Alcohol service and consumption are now legally permitted during events!
Community Sponsorship
A $200 sponsorship was approved for Chautauqua Lake’s modified football team. Go Thunderbirds!
Club Improvements & Volunteer Notes
- J. Nixon is donating his crew’s time to help with upcoming projects.
- Jared is making custom dolly carts for our tables and chairs.
- We need volunteers and bartenders for BBQ Memorial Day Weekend (May 24) and Father’s Day Weekend (June 21).
